Bio: DJ NeeKo Killa, (Nicolas Negri) is born in Nice in France January 22nd 1982. Seven years of music theory and classes plunged him from an early age in music and art. In 1997, in Paris, he buys his first vinyl of a long series to come. Influenced by his passion for dance, he opens himself at an early stage to musics of all styles, accepting music with a capital "M" His tastes... range from Reggae, Dancehall, Breakbeat, salsa, classical and Underground Hip Hop to name a few. Organizing events in the south of France, DJ NeeKo shared the stage with artists like Cut Killer, Mike One, Dee-Nasty, Weedim and Goodka that have positively influenced his career. Not limiting himself to one style, DJ NeeKo can light the fire to a Break battle or event give a clubbing atmosphere in a Hip Hop and dance-hall night. His sound is heavy, the selection is good - rarely commercial - and the public never left unsatisfied. Also a composer, DJ NeeKo has produced various mixtapes that have all gathered success on the internet with more than 100.000 downloads ( Wine & Go Down, Killa Soundz, Original Killa Breaks, Mek Dem Know.) Having travelled around the world, DJ Neeko currently lives in Montreal where he's taking part in various artistic projects, battles and mixtapes. In 2010, he won The Mtl-Bboyin "Best Battle Dj" Award.
