They're young, they're Swedish, there's two of 'em. They've toured the US at the invitation of Mercury Prize Winners the XX, been given a score of 8.6 on Pitchfork's best new music, The Washington Post named their album "jj No2" the ‘second best pop album of the year’, they created a massive buzz when they played their first gig at SXSW in 2010. 

On Christmas eve, they released their 3rd album, KILLS, Featuring re-workings of famous tracks by Kanye West, Dr Dre, M.I.A., Jay-Z and Akon, for free on the Sincerely Yours website. After just three days Kills had been downloaded more than 30,000 times.

They make music that defies easy categorisation: SPIN Magazine tried, describing JJ as “pushing the boundaries of ambient music with a combo of indie pop, acid house, new age, electro, hip-hop, and Caribbean elements, all paired with singer Elin Kastlander’s aching vocals. The result: an euphoric sound as soothing as lying on a private beach in St. Barts.”

We're also delighted that it's going to be at Hidden Agenda in Kowloon bay! Voted best new live venue 2010 by Time Out, and home of the most reasonably priced drinks outside of bar 7-11.
