Hiking Hong Kong

I participated in the last two Pink Walks A gainst Breast Cancer. winning best dressed in 2009, and raising over HK$15 ,000 with my wife (rather embarrassing image below). This year it is perso nal for me, as my Mother has just been diagnosed with breast cancer, and is currently undergoing Chemo. As a result I want to donate more than ever before, and I would appreciate any support that you can give me, either v ia a monetary donation, or by coming along with me on this hike along Hong Kong Trail Stage 1. Here is some information from 2010's Breast Cancer Wal k. Hiking Hong Kong will enter as a Group where the minimum donation is HK $350 per person. Since we will be entering as a group, you can pay us dire ctly. If you would like a receipt for tax purposes let us know! As a combin ed effort we will write a giant cheque to be presented to HKBCF on the day , aiming to win the Top Group Fundraiser Award. I would also like to aim fo r the Best Dressed Pink Award (Group). I have promised last year, that I w ould be dying my hair pink for the day, and no doubt for the subsequent we eks as it grows out! Throw some ideas our way if you have them ~ As the Hon g Kong Breast Cancer Foundation (HKBCF) is a registered charity in Hong Ko ng (registered Hong Kong Charity under Inland Revenue Ordinance Section 88. IR File: 91/7226), receipts can be provided for those who wish to claim charity donations on their tax returns. Remember that an individual liable to pay income tax can donate up to 35% of his/her assessable tax to a cha rity such as HKBCF. For example, if you are liable to pay HK$10,000 in t ax, you could donate HK$3,500 - Money that the government wont get, but that HKBCF will! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
