YDC School-Company Parent Programme 2011 - 12 Spring Semester
The School-Company Parent Programmer is now open for enrollment to all HKUST Alumni:
1) Get out of the office and join one of the most exciting and rewarding programmes
2) Give back to the community by helping the upper-school students to develop various skills
3) The experience will not only inspire you - it is actually a two way exchange where the trainer and student learn from each other.
You will conduct six workshops, carried out on six Saturday mornings over a three months time period as well as participate in a Sharing Sessions organized by YDC during the Program to share your experience with other fellow Company Ambassadors.
Objectives:
*Introduce entrepreneurship to youngsters at their early stage of career planning
*Let students learn outside the classroom and introduces the commercial world to them
*Invite companies to participate the education of future workforce
*Establish the bridge between businesses and schools
*Cultivate parental concern and support culture in Hong Kong
Details:
Period - Feb 2012 to May 2012 (6 Sessions)
Time - Saturday Morning (Detailed schedule to be arranged between School and Company Ambassadors)
Venue - The matched Secondary School
Language - Cantonese

Remarks:
1. Participants must attend a half-day "Train-the-Trainer Session" on Feb 11 (Saturday) morning to familiarize with the Program. The details will be announced later.
2. You will be formed to a team of three. Details will be arranged with you after registration
